host it somewhere. It is possible for me to upload to host servers
providing free web space, but they usually have a draw back of
some kind. Normally, their banners have to be displayed on your
page all the time, or irritating pop-up box opens. Sometimes
certain facilities are not available e.g. CGI or FTP extensions.
These are very useful, CGI allows data to be sent from server to
you, i.e. forms, logs and counters. Apart from this a separate
email address has to be supplied and their name goes in front of
your chosen name of your site. So

absolutely everything, you have your own domain name attached,
emails, pop addresses so emails can be sent straight to you, more
than enough web space, and a good amount of data transfer
allowances per month, (every time your site is visited, data is
transferred and if your site is popular, you could pay extra with
free web space) among many other useful facilities. I have found
that Ghoulnet and 1&1 Internet Ltd to be the best for value
and service, however, I would always look for the best for you, if
you were to request me to find web space. |
